Grooming

All dogs being groomed must meet the same requirements as any dog that we care for, irrespective of service. This includes the fact that your dog must be up to date on his/ her vaccinations prior to their appointment.

We require our customers to fill out a customer card with basic information.  This will assist in keeping your pet’s records up to date, and, in case of emergency, we have all pertinent information immediately at our disposal.  Please understand that this is a safety measure that benefits mostly our customers and their pets.  The Jumping Bulldog never, shares information with third parties. We also require our customers to undersign a waiver for all elderly and/ or ill pets.

In order to allow for sufficient time to fulfill your pet's grooming needs we book by appointment only.  This will not only ensure that your pet receives the attention it deserves, but it lessens the trauma that is often associated with grooming procedures when pets are put into cages due to pick-up/ drop-off waiting times. 

We do not cage any of our animals at any time.

For the safety of your pet we no longer accept pets without leashes.  Therefore, we are asking you to please ensure the delivery of your pets with, or on a leash, even if they are in their carriers.

We believe that even by use of proper professional tools de-matting and hand stripping are unduly painful processes for the animal.  Therefore, we respectfully decline to perform any such service.

A substantial amount of revenue is lost due to no-show appointments.  Effective immediately, all cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice and/ or no-shows will incur a $20 charge on the next visit per dog. 

Cancellations with sufficient time will not incur any charges.  Pets dropped-off more than 15 minutes late will loose their appointment, and a $20 charge will apply.  Likewise, pets that are picked-up more than 15 minutes after their scheduled time will incur an additional charge of $10 per hour.  Kindly respect your appointments. 

Please note that we take bookings book up to three or more weeks in advance, especially during the spring and summer months.  This applies especially for major holiday season.  Please allow plenty of time when booking your appointments.

Delivery

  • The Jumping Bulldog's delivery service is a free service around the Ditmars area only.
  • There is a minimum purchase price of $25.00 (not including tax/tip) for all deliveries.
  • COD: The Jumping Bulldog reserves the right to accept cash payment only upon delivery.  

It is our goal to schedule deliveries at our customers’ convenience.  However, we prefer that our customers schedule 24 hours in advance.  We will make every attempt possible to deliver the same day, but The Jumping Bulldog cannot guarantee same day delivery.

In the event that our customer’s, or a person appointed by them, is not available to receive the home delivery, a re-delivery charge of $10.00 will be added to your order before we re-deliver.


Boutique Sales/Store Policy

We strive to offer the best quality products, and the best prices that the company can afford.  It is our hope that you will always be satisfied with the goods and services that we provide. 

However, in the event when you are not satisfied for any reason, please be aware of the terms and conditions set forth.

Refunds, Returns & Exchanges

  • Regular items for sale can be returned within seven business days with all tags attached and with original receipt only.
  • All "as is" sales are final and returns will not be accepted.
  • “As is” sales cannot be refunded, nor will store credit be granted.
  • If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return the unopened package(s) with all original packing material for a full exchange or credit towards your next purchase and/ or order.
  • Opened items, used items, books, DVDs and/ or CDs, litter pans, carriers and food bowls are excluded from returns.
  • Shipping charges of any kind are not applicable for refund, unless we have shipped you the wrong item or a damaged item.
  • Monetary refunds will be made up to and including $25 only.
  • Monetary refunds in the amount up to and including $25 will be granted within seven business days only. All packages must be unopened, undamaged, and original tags must be intact.
  • The Jumping Bulldog will honor exchanges and/ or store credit for items exchanged within seven business days. All packages must be unopened, undamaged, and original tags must be intact.
  • Exchanges/ store credits expire by 12/31 of the current calendar year.
  • Exchanges/ store credits issued between November 1 and December 24 of the current calendar year will expire on February 28 of the following calendar year.
  • Gift cards will expire on 12/31 of the calendar year they were issued unless otherwise noted.
  • Gift cards purchased between November 1 and December 24 of the current calendar year will expire on February 28 of the following calendar year.

 

Payment

  • At our brick and mortar location (boutique) we accept most major credit cards.  Checks and/or Money Orders are never accepted.
  • Payments for online purchases are powered by PayPal.  Please refer to this link (add live link later) for additional important information.


Pricing

The Jumping Bulldog reserves the right to change its store pricing, and its online pricing, and its pricing for services offered without prior notification. As a general rule, the most current pricing is governed by the pricing displayed in our boutique.
